Dearly Departed is a heartfelt, funny supernatural dramedy set in present-day Newfoundland & Labrador. It follows a newly deceased woman, Erin Collins, who becomes a rookie Grim Reaper, one of many undertrained souls guiding the newly departed through their final moments. Her own sudden death shapes her connection to the souls she helps. What begins as a routine afterlife job slowly reveals itself to be a personal reckoning that challenges everything she believes about her own grief.

Short Film

Rick Morgan dies suddenly and wakes up in his casket just before his own funeral. His only guidance comes from a rookie Grim Reaper working her very first case. Once Rick's family starts confessing long-kept secrets to his lifeless body, he is desperate to get one last message to the living.
